Hurricane Maria has adversely affected our Partners, Customers and End-users. Puerto Rico is strong and will recover very quickly and WESTHAM TRADE is committed to help our Puerto Rico and Caribbean friends and family in in the recovery process. In order to help, we have put three initiatives to help our partners in need.
- Let’s keep the business moving:
Our partners at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Hewlett Packard Inc. Puerto Rico will have communication interruptions and will need help to keep the day to day operations flowing. We will be offering extended support to the HPE and HPI employees affected by Hurricane Maria by offering channels an extended presales support in addition the usual presales support .
The extended presales support means you can send us your requirements directly and we will configure and price out directly with HPE or HPI by working with their employees in other geographies. Please feel free to send us your tenders, or technical requests instead of the specialists in PR, and we will be happy to work with you to prevent any delays.

- Let’s get on the road to Recovery:
Westham Trade will be offering free disaster recovery support to our customers in order to get their infrastructure back up and running when power returns to the island. If you are a Westham partner, you will have access to our technical staff for online and phone support. Please contact us directly to activate this free support by emailing maria-recovery@wtrade.com . Restrictions apply.
If you need hardware or repair parts, we will work with you to find immediate sources for them and help in acquiring them quickly.

- Free shipment from Miami to Puerto Rico:
Westham will put together a maritime shipment, free of charge for our customers and partners. The shipment is limited to a 20’ container which will be closed on October 11th, 2017. The container will be loaded on a first come first served basis.
The objective of this shipment is to send non-perishable, and non-emergency items. If you need emergency supplies, please contact your local disaster relief agencies. This shipment is intended for such things as electronics, generators, household stuff, diapers etc. to aid in the recovery efforts. No food or water can be accepted for this shipment.
This shipment is limited to HPE and HPI personnel only and current customers.
Important dates:
All items must be received in our warehouse before October 11th, 2017 and accompanied by a commercial invoice.
***UPDATE SEPT 29, 2017: All items must be received before October 18th in order to give additional time to purchase goods in Florida. It seems that the delivery date for generators is 2 weeks, so we extended the deadline 1 additional week. All details will be communicated here, so check back for updates.***
Before sending anything to the warehouse, please contact us at maria-recovery@wtrade.com and let us know what you will be sending to get pre-approval. The container should be available in Puerto Rico the week of October 16th.
