Today concluded the last day of HPE’s Distribution kickoff so masterfully planned by Maria Fernanda Montano and her team. The three-day event was held in the strategically located Aloft Hotel in Doral, Florida which is located very close to our headquarters. This event is held yearly to align efforts between Westham Trade and HPE, where we deep dive into everything from product, territory and segment strategy. We worked with the individuals assigned each of these responsibilities so we can mutually collaborate to reach great success. Everything we do has our customers as the top priority.

I want to point out how personable HPE is and everyone is extremely reachable for questions or help in anything a channel partner might need. The key is that people like to work with people, not portals or chatbots. With HPE you can always have that personalized touch.

There was much focus on HPE’s Super 6 Priorities which are:

Everything-as-a-Service – accelerates the transition to consumption-based delivery models

Westham Trade is perfectly aligned with all these priorities, including the Everything-as-a-Service with Greenlake. We are the only distributor to have closed two Greenlake deals in an HPE non-subsidiary country. This is a great accomplishment and we are looking forward to closing more Greenlake deals soon. Greenlake is financial model that allows end-users to have a Hybrid model where they maintain on-premise infrastructure while financially operating on a pay-as-you-go model similar to public cloud.
